1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Eventzy platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on Eventzy’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials;
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Eventzy’s website;
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
• Transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our platform.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the platform and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use “strong” passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.

4. User Content

Our platform allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material. You are responsible for the content that you post to the platform, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

5. Special Category Data: Explicit Consent

To personalize your event planning, Eventzy collects information that constitutes “special category personal data” under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Article 9) and equivalent “sensitive personal information” categories under U.S. state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CTDPA, and others). By creating an account and using Eventzy, you provide your explicit consent to our collection and processing of the following categories of data:

• Dietary restrictions, allergies, and food preferences: for example, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, halal, nut allergies. We use this to coordinate menu options with caterers and to flag allergy considerations on guest lists.
• Accessibility needs: for example, wheelchair accessibility, hearing assistance, mobility considerations. We use this to filter venue options, configure floor plans, and brief vendors so the event accommodates every guest.
• Cultural background, religious traditions, and ceremonial practices: for example, Hindu, Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, Sikh, secular, or interfaith ceremonies; specific traditions you wish to incorporate. We use this to recommend culturally appropriate vendors, ceremony structures, attire, music, and to ensure planning suggestions align with your traditions.

Legal basis: we process this data on the basis of your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)) and because the processing is necessary for the performance of the planning service you have contracted us to provide (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). We do not sell or share special category data with third parties for advertising or unrelated purposes.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the relevant fields from your event profile or by contacting us at privacy@eventzy.ai. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before consent was withdrawn, and may limit our ability to provide certain personalization features.

6. AI-Generated Content

Our platform uses artificial intelligence to provide planning suggestions, vendor recommendations, budget estimates, and other content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content is provided for informational and planning purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. Eventzy does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for your specific circumstances.

You acknowledge that AI-generated suggestions may contain errors or inaccuracies, and you are solely responsible for verifying information and making final decisions regarding your event. Eventzy shall not be liable for any damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

7. Vendor Marketplace

Eventzy provides a marketplace that connects couples with third-party vendors. Eventzy acts solely as an intermediary platform and is not a party to any agreement between you and a vendor. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any vendor’s services, products, pricing, availability, or quality.

While we make reasonable efforts to verify vendor profiles, you acknowledge that: (a) you contract directly with vendors for their services and pay them directly; (b) Eventzy is not responsible for vendor performance, cancellations, or breaches; (c) vendor reviews and ratings reflect user opinions and are not verified by Eventzy; (d) you should independently verify vendor credentials, licenses, and insurance before booking; and (e) Eventzy is not a party to your agreement with a vendor, never takes, holds, or routes payment under it, and does not mediate, arbitrate, or decide disputes arising under it.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Eventzy (Eventzy, Inc.) or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Eventzy’s website, even if Eventzy or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

9. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of our platform shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

You agree that any arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

A dispute between you and a vendor is between you and that vendor. Eventzy is not a party to your agreement with them, never takes, holds, or routes payment under it, and does not operate an internal mediation, review, or determination process for it. What we can give you is the agreement you signed through Eventzy, the vendor’s contact details, and a dated record of what you raised with us. The paragraphs above govern disputes between you and Eventzy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
