Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Eventzy is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards. Planning a wedding is already enough. The tool should meet you where you are.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological differences.

Accessibility features

A few things we build for on purpose, not as an afterthought:

• Keyboard access: controls you can reach with a mouse are built to also be reachable and operable using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline so you always know where you are on the page.
• Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, animations across Eventzy shrink to a still, instant presentation instead of sliding or fading in.
• Color contrast: we check text against its background using WCAG color contrast ratios, and treat a failed check as a bug to fix, not a style choice.

How we test

We run automated accessibility audits using axe-core, an industry-standard testing engine, across Eventzy’s pages. It checks for issues like insufficient color contrast, missing labels on interactive controls, and incorrect use of ARIA attributes. When an audit turns up an issue, we log it, fix it, and re-run the audit to confirm the fix landed. This is an ongoing practice, not a one-time certification: as pages ship or change, we test again.

Known limitations

Our public pages are our most thoroughly tested surface. Some parts of the signed-in wedding planning workspace, the tools you use once you have an account, are still catching up to that same standard, particularly around labeling a few icon-only buttons for screen readers and color contrast on some accent text. If you run into a control that does not behave the way you would expect with a keyboard or a screen reader, tell us using the contact details below. We treat every accessibility report as a bug to fix, not a suggestion to consider.
